I obtained my Bachelor’s in Psychology at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and my Master’s Degree in Counseling from San Francisco State University. I have always had a passion for working with youth and quickly found myself in the world of children’s community mental health following graduation. Much of my clinical experience has been focused on work with young children, teens, and their parents, supporting with challenges related to trauma, anxiety, depression, oppositional behavior, and anger management. I have provided therapy services to foster and probation youth, while also supporting their caregivers through the many challenges associated with system involvement.
I am passionate about the importance of early childhood attachment and have found myself motivated to help foster healthy parent-child relationships in my clinical work. While working with children and families, it became increasingly clear that supporting the child meant supporting the caregiver so that they could be their most present and available selves with their children.
This understanding and passion was strengthened immensely after I became a mother myself. I gained a new understanding of the emotions, complexities, and identity shifts associated with becoming a parent. This motivated me to shift the focus of my work to supporting adults struggling with issues related to pregnancy and parenting. In my work with clients, I strive to help parents and caregivers feel supported and empowered to reach their goals, as I believe this is the foundation for the self-care that allows you to experience more joy. I am passionate about helping clients find ways to integrate their individual priorities, goals, and values with their role as a parent in order to achieve a sense of balance and alignment.

A little more about me:
When I am not working, I spend most of my days caring for and chasing my two daughters, who keep me very busy! My favorite self-care practices include reading, indoor cycling, painting, interior design, spending time outdoors, and the occasional solo trip to run errands. I love connecting with friends as often as possible and spending time with my family. I enjoy finding opportunities to be creative in both my personal and professional life, which is something I bring into my work with clients. Others have described me as dedicated, compassionate, and personable.
